The Participant, IDG Communications and EWM hereby agree that the following Terms and Conditions and Code of Conduct form part of the EDGE Conference 2021 Agreement between the parties.
Definitions:
- EWM means Events with Pty Ltd
- IDG means IDG Communications
- Event Organisers means IDG and EWM collectively
- Participant means the participant agreeing to be bound by the Agreement with respect to their attendance at the Event
- Event means the EDGE 2021 virtual event to be held on 25th November 2021
Limitation of liability and release
The Event Organisers and their directors, employees, agents and contractors, are not liable to the delegate for any losses arising from or in any way connected with the Event. The Participant releases and forever discharges the Event Organisers and their directors, employees, agents and contractors from all claims, to the extent permitted by law, which the delegate may otherwise have for losses to property (including but not limited to personal property or belongings) or bodily injury or death howsoever caused, including negligence, arising from or in any way connected with the Event.
Indemnity
The Participant indemnifies and holds harmless the Event Organisers and their directors, employees, agents and contractors, to the extent permitted by law, in respect of any claim by any person, including but not limited to another Event participant, arising as a result of or in any way connected with the participant’s attendance of or actions at the Event.
Privacy
The personal information provided in this registration form by you is used and retained for the purposes of this event and contacting you with updates relating to the EDGE Program. For more information about our privacy policies please click here: IDG Privacy Policy.
EDGE code of conduct
For true collaboration and innovation at EDGE 2021, we are committed to facilitating a courteous community for all. We are introducing a conference code of conduct to empower all attendees to actively engage in creating a respectful and safe environment.
- Be kind and considerate - Respect personal space and common courtesy rules for personal interaction
- Behave appropriately - Refrain from displaying any demeaning, harassing, aggressive or intimidating materials or behaviour.
- Be professional - Behave in a professional manner.
- Report inappropriate behaviour - Promptly report any behaviour that makes you or others feel uncomfortable to your EDGE representative.
EDGE reserves the right to remove offending attendees from the event at any time. All determinations are at the discretion of EDGE, and the decision of the leading EDGE representative will be final. Individuals expelled due to violating this EDGE Code of Conduct will not be eligible for a refund or other consolation.
